Based on a literature review, this paper seeks to explore a business administration approach to Human Resource Management (HRM). This paper is intended for HR professionals who want to apply an approach to HRM based on Business Administration. On the one hand this paper uses various literature to formulate a conceptualisation of Business Administration and HRM. On the other hand this paper brings together these two areas and conceptualises a business administration approach to HRM. Finally this paper is intended to inspire HR professionals and give tools to demonstrate added value creation.
