“Before you speak in business always presume your mother is listening”
Earlier in the week I read the above piece of business advice and I decided I write a blog with the aim of gathering as much business advice as possible, so where better place to start than an HR forum. Advice is what HR professionals do best!
The above phrase is simple yet affective, I think that’s why it has stuck with me and it covers a wide range of things that you should and shouldn’t say/do in business. For instance if my mother was listening I wouldn’t be dishonest, rude and I would treat others how I would like to be treated and these are all important foundations of business that will give us a good starting point!
