I am delivering another coaching ‘walk & talk’ in July, taking a group of senior managers on through London’s Royal Parks, facilitating their learning about Leadership by exploring metaphors presented by the landscape and drawing out the patterns & themes that emerge from the conversation.

In order to support them and provoke discussion, I’d like to offer ‘leadership top tips’ and thought the HR Zone community would be a good start to gather inspiration & ideas.

So, if you are willing to share your top leadership tip, I will collate them all and publish them here for those who are interested.

One I recall given to me when I was younger: "good leaders aim to make themselves redundant!" This shaped my leadership style so much, it eventually resulted in me taking up executive coaching as a profession!

Now, what tip have you been given that shaped your own style of leadership?
