Weary workers are returning from the bank holiday weekend with renewed motivation to jump ship.
This is according to online recruiters Monster.co.uk, that said the first Tuesday after the bank holiday is the prime day for job hunting.
Monster’s life coach Jenny Ungless said: “People use their weekends to recover from the week at work, catch up with chores, see friends etc. The bank holiday Monday gives them that extra day to take stock and consider issues such as job satisfaction, career progression etc.”
The research revealed that almost half of UK workers are likely to look for a new job after an extra day off with 33% saying that they would definitely plan to job search.
