Despite some teething problems and concerns about data protection, HR departments are at the forefront of instigating new technology approaches within their organisation to help them develop their contribution to the bottom line.

That’s one of the key results drawn from a recent survey of HR Zone members to establish to what extent technology is being used to help and support HR Managers in their work.

The survey, conducted towards the end of 2002 and run in association with software providers Snowdrop Systems, looked at the degree to which IT systems – more specifically, e-HR systems – were embedded in the day-to-day processes and strategic planning of HR Zone members.
