Business Software Satisfaction Awards 2007: The results

pp_default1

Business Software Satisfaction Awards More than 300 people gathered for a glittering ceremony at The Brewery in London on Tuesday 9 October for the 2007 Business Software Satisfaction Awards organised by Sift Media, publisher of HR Zone.

The 2007 awards cover suppliers who serve members of all of Sift Media’s online professional communities, including HR Zone, TrainingZone, AccountingWEB, FinanceWeek, BusinessZone, MyCustomer, UKBusinessForums and KnowledgeBoard.

Nearly 2,000 software users from all the sites took the time to tell us about the systems they used and what they thought of them and the awards and commendations that follow are based on their first-hand experiences. This makes the Business Software Satisfaction Awards a unique accolade and a truly independent and effective indicator of product and support quality.

The HR and training category winners are below. Well done to all involved. Photos of the event and a PDF download of our 2007 Software Satisfaction Annual is available from the Business Software Satisfaction Awards website.

Business Software Satisfaction Survey methodology
The 2007 Business Software Satisfaction Awards are based on an online survey that drew nearly 2,000 responses from Sift Media’s portfolio of professional online communities – AccountingWEB.co.uk, FinanceWeek.co.uk, MyCustomer.com, TrainingZone.co.uk, HRZone.co.uk, UKBusinessForums.co.uk, BusinessZone.co.uk and KnowledgeBoard.com.

Survey participants were asked to rate their systems in different functional categories, as well as the resellers who implemented the systems. To ensure that the nominations were based on statistically significant samples, those listed here were the vendors who achieved the highest ratings from more than 5 per cent of the category sample. Those suppliers who did not achieve the 5 per cent threshold, but scored higher than the category average have been acknowledged with “honourable mentions”.
