The New Year will see a raft of new directors at the Learning and Skills Council (LSC).
Mark Haysom, Chief Executive of the LSC said that the appointments would help the council deliver on its annual statement of priorities, which includes strengthening the role of the LSC in economic development, improve the skills of those who deliver public services and to strengthen the LSC’s capacity to work at a regional level.
The appointments will see David Russell become director of resources, Rob Wye take on the role of director of strategy and communications, Roger Marriott from Ofsted will be director of evaluation and strategic development and Trevor Fellowes from the Department of Education and Skills is to become director of learner support.
