The Employment National Training Organisation (EmpNTO) have released a consultation document for proposed changes in the personnel qualification structure.

Structures have already been agreed in learning and development, health and safety and for trades unions representatives, but the NTO are seeking responses on the personnel qualification structure by 17 September.

The consultation is available at the EmpNTO website

It is hoped that the proposed Standards, Qualifications and Assessment Strategies will be accredited by QCA/SQA by the end of this year, and that Awarding Bodies will be approved to offer the new Qualifications from 1st June 2002.
