- McDonald’s Deutschland Inc. selects StepStone for recruitment solution
McDonald’s Deutschland Inc. has selected StepStone’s i-GRasp recruitment solution to help streamline its recruitment process. The fast food giant has 1,264 restaurants in Germany, which employ 49,000 staff and serve 848 million customers annually. It has a net turnover of €2.42 billion. 22.8.06 - Jardine Lloyd Thompson partners with Northern Trust Global Investments
Jardine Lloyd Thompson Benefit Solutions (JLT) has entered into an agreement with Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI) in the United Kingdom as its partner in the delivery of ‘active investment management’ on a Manager of Managers basis. This partnership will see NTGI take on responsibility for the selection and monitoring of managers globally for some of JLT’s pension fund clients. 9.8.06 - HBOS selects Profund’s oPen for Colleague Pension Scheme
The HBOS Group has selected Profund Solutions Limited to provide pensions administration software for all of their staff pensions arrangements. HBOS already run the Halifax Retirement Fund on oPen and will further extend this through the merging of their defined benefit colleague pensions arrangements to have over 75,000 members on oPen. 8.8.06 - WSPA adopts Northgate HR’s Empower solution
The World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) has awarded Northgate HR a 5 year contract for its Empower HR solution. The new system will be used to automate personnel and recruitment for the charity’s 70 employees. 2.8.06 - Mblox Calls on Snowdrop for HR software
mBlox, the world’s largest mobile transaction network, has bought HR software from Snowdrop to consolidate the information of its 200+ employees worldwide and provide better management reports. 2.8.06 - Matchett and OutStart join forces to provide knowledge solutions to the UK
Matchett will offer OutStart Participate across its entire customer base to help them to achieve their business and financial learning and knowledge-sharing goals. 19.7.06 - Northgate HR advises ACAS on HR and payroll
The Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service (ACAS) has awarded Northgate HR a 5 year contract to provide a fully integrated HR and payroll solution to its 900 employees. The ResourceLink solution will replace separate HR and payroll systems, and will include training and recruitment modules. 14.7.06 - City Council signs £850,000 HR and payroll contract with Northgate HR
Coventry City Council has signed an HR and payroll contract with Northgate HR to manage the council’s 16,000 employees from recruitment, training and career development through to pensions and retirement. 13.7.06 - Brightwave to Develop E-Learning for Thomson Holidays
Brightwave, the workplace learning specialist, is developing an interactive and immersive e-learning programme for Thomson Holidays, part of the largest tourism and services group in the world. The programme is designed to increase employees’ knowledge about European city destinations that Thomson offers so that they are better able to match customers with suitable short breaks. 4.7.06 - Accor Services announces strategic partnership with Workplace Options
Employee Advisory Resource (EAR), provider of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) and Work-Life services, will join forces with Workplace Options (WPO).This strategic partnership will allow EAR’s growing portfolio of global clients to quickly and effectively extend coverage of their employee benefits outside the UK. 30.6.06 - Mittal Steel selects HRM Connect Executive
Mittal Steel, the world’s largest and most global steel company, has selected HRM Connect Executive to support their worldwide executive development program. Mittal will also implement HRM’s integrated modules for training administration and organisation charting. 14.6.06
