Editor’s note
=============
Plans to introduce a corporate manslaughter bill to tighten the
rules clamping down on companies that fail to protect workers
and members of the public were uncovered as part of the Queen’s
speech. The news was met with caution from many employers’
associations but does not go far enough according to one union.

A single equalities commission will also be created, said the
Queen replacing the Equal Opportunities Commission, the
Disability Rights Commission and the Commission for Racial
Equality. Scroll below to read these stories in full.
