pp_default1

KPN, a leading provider of telecommunications services in the Netherlands, has signed a contract for the outsourcing of its HR Shared Service Centre (SSC) to LogicaCMG.

KPN has centralised all personnel administration in its HR SSC in The Hague. LogicaCMG will take over the responsibility for the HR call centre and the supporting HR information systems, as well as the personnel and payroll administration for 17,000 employees at KPN.

Sixty HR experts from KPN’s SSC joined LogicaCMG in its Rijswijk office on 1 January 2008.

Paul Schuyt, chief executive of LogicaCMG in the Netherlands, said: “LogicaCMG has acquired a very successful and efficient HR Shared Service Centre. This will improve our position in the global HR business process outsourcing market and further strengthen our long established relationship with KPN.”

Hein Knaapen, HR director at KPN, commented: “KPN entered this agreement to guarantee flexibility and continuity in a rapidly changing market. We chose LogicaCMG as our partner because KPN already had an established and very well-working relationship with the company regarding the management of HR systems and payroll processing.”
