Mind the skills gap – HRzone at TRULondon

pp_default1

HRzone will be at TRULondon 3 – unconference time is here again!

Bill Boorman, connector, community builder and TRU events organiser is back with TRULondon 3. This version is bigger than ever and the event is still growing. More than just a recruitment event, and different from a conference, the event has pre-announced ‘tracks’ which we know will happen, but there’s always a lot more besides!

It’s like being at a giant, live forum, where discussions on various topics called ‘tracks’ happen at all times. As Bill says on the events page, the only rules are:

No Powerpoint
No Dress Code
No Name Badges (Though we have a funky alternative – see Bills’ blog for details on this)
No Pitching
No Presentations
Aside from that, the floor is yours!

I’m going to be there and hoping to hold a track called ‘Mind the skills gap’ about skills and talent in the workplace and how recruiters and HR can work together to source and bring in the best talent – and considering why we are continually struggling with this topic.

The main unconference is happening on 17 and 18 February but this time there’s also a special jobseeker and graduate recruitment day on 16 February.

Places are limited and tickets are very competitively-priced. You can see more details on all the tracks and tickets here:

There’s also lots of networking events and of course a tweet up to enjoy around the event. See Bill’s (un)blog for more information and all the buzz about what’s happening next week.
