Wednesday 5 November is National Stress Awareness Day™. Organised for the sixth year running by International Stress Management Association UK, (ISMAUK) and the theme for this year is “We can all do something about stress”.
Free workshops to help organisations
To help businesses deal with stress, ISMAUK is organising free local workshops around the UK during the week following National Stress Awareness Day – many of which be hosted by LA Fitness clubs. For details on the workshops, which are approved by the HSE, and how to reserve places on them, click here
Free stress-related advice and therapies
On National Stress Awareness Day, ISMAUK members (professionals specialising in stress management consultancy, coaching, counselling and training, life coaches and specialists in massage, hypnotherapy, aromatherapy) will be on hand at LA Fitness clubs offering free advice or the chance to experience complementary therapies. LA Fitness will also be operating an “open door” policy for the day – so all members of the public are invited to visit their local club to find out more about what they could be doing to combat stress.
