The NHS graduate management training scheme has won the ‘Best of the Best’ award from the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR).

It also scooped the award for best in Recruitment and Assessment.

The NHS scheme was acclaimed by the judges for communicating a strong link between cultural values and recruitment competencies. They were also impressed by its verification process involving senior managers, scheme alumni and trainees.

Nicola Fair, Corporate lead for the Graduate Training Scheme, said: “We are delighted with the scheme’s latest win, which provides further recognition of the serious approach the NHS is taking to ensure we produce quality future leaders. These Awards are recognition that the NHS is able to recruit and develop the most able senior leaders to deliver healthcare systems of the future.”

Other winners included: GCHQ which won the Best Literature Award; Dresdner Kleinwort was overall winner of the Best Website Award; the Chartered Insurance Institute received Integrated Marketing Campaign Award and the winner of the Innovation on Campus Award this year was the AGR Information and Technology Sector Focus group.

The AGR awards annually recognise and reward graduate recruiters for creative and innovative campaigns that attract the best graduate talent. They are judged by students and professional graduate recruiters and are free for members to enter.
