Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey is set to offer his secrets on performing under pressure at this years Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) HRD 2005 Conference and Exhibition.
The conference will have over 40 seminars linking case studies, interactive workshops, debates and speakers who include:
* Kelly Holmes, double Olympic gold medallist on self-belief, tenacity and motivation to succeed
* Sir John Stevens, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, on being a successful business leader
* Becky Martin, performance consultant, Terminal 5 BAA and Andrew Thompson, Junior Doctors Committee, British Medical Association, on creating a learning culture
Over 300 providers of learning, training and development products and services will be taking part in the HRD 2005 Exhibition.
The event also marks the launch of the CIPD’s annual learning, training and development survey. The CIPD expect this year’s results to show a continued growth in training methods such as coaching and e-learning. Early indications also suggest that the vast majority of employers expect existing skills shortages to get worse over the next three years.
HRD 2005 will take place at London Olympia from 12 – 14 April 2005.
