Softworld HR & Payroll preview – new product launches

Softworld HR & Payroll returns to the NEC, Birmingham on 24–25 September 2003.

As sponsors of the event, HR Zone will be publishing a range of updates and news from the event before, during and after it takes place.

Featuring an exhibition of 30 leading vendors, the showfloor will play host to a number of new products and services being launched into the market.

New products

  • Callidus Software, (stand 108) will be showing TruePerformance, which extends the benefits of EIM to the entire organisation. The product can help businesses accurately plan, implement, and manage all aspects of employee compensation.

  • Cyberaid Limited, on stand 306, will be showing Adaptiv for Windows.

  • Frontier Software Plc (stand 208 & 225) will be exhibiting chris21 integrated HR and Payroll software, which now offers an entry level HR package for smaller users. At Softworld, the entry level HR package will be available for companies with less than 200 employees from £995.

  • Grampian Software, on stand 112, will be demonstrating the new ‘self service’ module of OpenPeople along with all the latest functionality in recently released Version 4. Grampian will offer a 15% discount on the licence cost for all new orders placed within three months of visiting its stand at Softworld.

  • Ingenuity @ Work Ltd on stand 104, will be launching Integrated Organisation Modeling, and enhanced Unauthorised Absence Analysis within the Ingenuity HR module.

  • Microsoft Business Solutions (stand 200) will show greatly enhanced versions of its intranet self-service tools and core Empower products that were released in July 2003 as part of the V4 launch.

  • Pyramid HR, on stand 300, will be previewing the next generation of Pyramid with greatly enhanced user interface.

  • Select Software UK Ltd will be on stand 100. Showing for the first time at Softworld, the latest innovations from Select Software include Select HR Insight and Select HR Clearvision self-service. A free copy of Select HR Now will be available for all new clients. Select HR Now is the on-line employment information service provided in association with GEE.

  • Selima Software Limited (stand 224) will be showing Vision’s e-HR suite of modules including Payroll, Personnel, Training, Recruitment, e-Forms with workflow, Self Service and a report writing system.

  • Selven Group Plc, on stand 310, will be demonstrating the latest version of its TeamSpirit Integrated Human Resource Software.

  • Snowdrop Systems (stand 116) will be launching ‘Greenhouse’ – a new initiative to drive innovation. Research has shown that 51% of employees think it would be easier to use e-mail or an intranet for dealing with minor HR issues. Visitors can pick up their free research report on the company’s stand.

    The event will also feature an educational programme, comprising vendor seminars, breakfast briefings and masterclass sessions.
