According to a Telegraph report today, UK graduates have the best employment prospects of all European countries.

According to the report 83% of UK graduates have found a job within 3 years of graduating compared to 77% for the rest of Europe. However the statistics hide more disturbing news in that graduate employment appears to be half that for non-graduates within the working population, and ethnic minority graduates within the UK would appear to have less luck in finding work.

According to the Higher Education Funding Council for England, 93% of white graduates find work within 6 months compared with 89% of black Carribbeans, 82% of black Africans, 89% of Indians, 84% of Pakistanis and 86% of Chinese.
