The UK’s most prestigious business accolade is now available thanks to the encouragement of HRH The Duke of York and the creation of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise 2004.
His Royal Highness, who is British Trade International’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment said:
“Apart from the prestige of earning the UK’s top business prize, the impact is tangible, with past winners reporting outcomes including a boost to staff morale, positive media coverage, and increased recognition both in the UK and overseas.
A Queen’s Award provides a business with the royal seal of approval commending a company’s drive and expertise.
HRH The Duke of York has reported that winners seemed to have achieved direct benefits to their business competitiveness as a result of using the queens emblem in their marketing.
The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise can be awarded in one or more of three categories – International Trade, Innovation and Sustainable Development.
