If you’ve a particularly creative or innovative approach to cracking the work-life balance problem within your organisation, now’s the time to stand up and be counted.
The Parents at Work Employer of the Year Awards launched today offer employers the chance to show how both employees and business benefit from their current policies in the wake of the new regulations on maternity and paternity leave and flexible working due new month.
Among the plaudits on offer are the Driving Diversity Award for work-life balance initiatives which have enhanced the diversity of a workforce, the Family Friendly Award for employers who have policies and practices which enable ongoing flexible working and support for working parents of older children and the Scottish Employer of the Year Award for employers with the best work-life balance policy and practice in Scotland.
Employers from all sizes of organisation and sectors are invited to enter the competition by 16 May, the winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony in November.
