pp_default1

Problems with stress at work? For once, someone has noticed. This Wednesday is National Stress Awareness day, organised by the International Stress Management Association and sponsored by Royal and SunAlliance Group.

This year’s theme is “Managing Stress in the 24-hour Society”. The theme will be publicised by the Stress Bus Tour, which will travel from 7pm on Tuesday 6th until 7pm the next evening, highlighting stress issues at venues around the capital.

National Stress Awareness Day will also be used to publicise seminars on “Managing Workplace Stress” that will be held around the country from Tuesday 13th November. The seminars will seek to clarify employers’ and employees’ responsibilities in regard to stress, and will explain the implications of the latest HSE guidlines on stress at work, They will take place at Royal and SunAlliance offices and other venues in Bournemouth, Birmingham, Croydon, Glasgow, Guildford, London, Manchester, Maidstone, Southampton and Wellington. The seminars will last 2 1/2 hours and are free, but booking is essential.
