User feedback provides the basis for the eighth version of the talent management software. Jon Wilcox speaks with Jobpartners’ Richard Doherty about the update.
Talent management software provider Jobpartners has unveiled ActiveRecruiter v8, now available to its existing customer base.
The latest revision of the product features a number of improvements such as the implementation of new HTML-enabled editing boxes, HTML emails, and further security enhancements. In an interview with HRzone.co.uk, Jobpartners’ group vice president solutions and marketing, Richard Doherty revealed customers were the inspiration behind the improvements:
"We listened to customer feedback, and as such have added tools to save time otherwise spent formatting communications. Every piece of communication can be branded and the visual experience can be controlled seamlessly."
ActiveRecruiter v8 also received a further lick of paint in the form of a new interface design, and increased configuration options.
"In today’s climate, being able to quickly attract and engage with candidates is imperative. We have listened to our customers and as a result ActiveRecruiter v8 provides companies with all the tools to enhance their employer brand and deliver a seamless and secure recruitment experience to all applicants," said Patrice Barbedette, founder of Jobpartners.
Doherty explained the increasing popularity of talent management software during the recession, as its functionality, "provide organisations with greater automation and enable them to identify talent pools across the business." It’s a trend he doesn’t envisage petering out soon: "Talent management will continue to gain in importance as organisations treat it as part of a risk management strategy. Losing your best people can significantly impact on your business, so effective succession planning through talent management is vital."
