I am currently on secondment due to breast feeding issues which cannot be resolved in my usual position. I receive the same annual basic salary as my usual job but I am falling short on my hourly rate as my usual job has a tax free element to it, which I am not entitled to receive in my seconded job. Am I right to persue the company for a ‘top up’ to cover this loss as I am not receiving the same pay as I would be if I wasn’t on secondment. Many thanks for any feedback.
