We are looking to fill a full time position with a job share. I have never been involved with job share before so your experience would be helpful. My concern is if one of the job share leaves what are the implications both to the employer and the employee? We would try and fill the opposite job share but what if we are unsuccessful where does that leave the employer, their rights and the employee their rights? What happens if the remaining job share cannot work full time? Should I point out any pitfalls to the job shares and should something be put in the contract if either one leaves.
