A new job has been created in my organisation. 6 months ago a member of staff resigned to “sail round the world”. He is now back and has written to us asking if there are any positions availabe. We know he would be perfect for the new job. However, do we, by law, have to advertise the job both internally and externally. I would be grateful for help with this query. Thank you.
