Telephone ‘interviews’

I have a client who would like to explore using telephone interviews for the first level of recruitment for help line staff.

It is many years since I was involved with recruitment of telephone staff, so would appreciate any pointers/ templates/ information on any legislation?

Or- does any one know experts on this that I could refer my client to?
