An employee is certified sick, he would like to take a break in the UK but feels guilty about taking the time off while he is on sick leave, therefore he has booked it as holiday. Sick pay will be suspended for the period. Although there may be a moral issue in taking the time off him, is it legal to allow him to do this while he is certified sick?
