Not-for-profit, government funded but not civil service organization–we do not charge an employee a day if the office closes due to weather. In that case, can we require them to repeatedly check their email at home or on their mobile device and expect them to answer these emails or requests? What is the current trend in for-profit businesses or not-for-profit?
