I am looking at how I can improve our absence management procedures, and put some processes in place for employees phoning in when they are absent through sick leave.

Part of this is the possibility of using an outside company to manage the phone calls when employees are phoning in sick – answering the calls, asking the relevant questions, setting out the expectations for the remainder of their absence, and forwarding on this information to myself.

Is there anyone who has / is done this, and can you tell me who you use?
