In a nursery there is confusion re Bank Holiday payments
Staff working Mon/Tues/Wed presumably in weeks with a bank holiday and the nursery closed get paid the normal daily rate
Staff with contracts wed/thurs/frid presumably then the issue of Bank Holiday on a Monday does not arise–although someone has suggested that those staff should be paid 0.75 rate for the Bh even though they would not normally be in work
Can you help clarify the position and relevant directives which guide best practice
