We have undergone a reorganisation on one department and it could be possible that the shift works one week, Monday to Friday, day shift and the second week Monday to Thursday night shift. Both weeks would total 48 hours. How would we calculate the holiday entitlement on this shift pattern?
Our standard entitlement when working 5 days per week is 21 days per year and this is accrued as 1.75 days per month. It would be straight forward when they book a week off on days as this would be 5 straight days but when they book a week off on nights, they would only need to book 4 nights.
