A client I provide outsourced HR services to has serious concerns about the psychological well-being of one of their Leeds based employees who TUPE transferred to them 6 months or so ago. The employee concerned has a number of presenting issues – he appears extremely depressed and his behaviour is erratic and (in some instances) very odd. The employee has no faith in his GP.

His line manager has interviewed him and there are a number of issues causing stress in the employee’s private life. My client’s Health & Safety Manager and I have decided that he should be suspended from work on full pay pending an occupational health assessment / assessment of his psychological well-being in relation to his job duties. The employee is happy with this. Whilst I have people I could refer him to in the South-East I do not know of any appropriately qualified practitioners in the Leeds area. Recommendations would be gratefully received.
