Hi there,
After many many Emails and contact with HR specialist recruitment agencies, I have finally decided to join a blogging community in the hope of finding at least one constructive advice from a REAL HR professional.
I have been working in people and project management as well as lecturing at University for a couple of years (television, event, PR) and have realised that working in Graduate Recruitment would combine all aspects of work I find most enjoyable: managing people, delivering projects/events, interviewing and selecting candidates, encouraging and engaging people.
Although the HR recruitment agencies claim ‘to be the best’ and ‘different from others’, I haven’t heard back from many of them nor did I get any meaningful advice on the way.
I am looking to break into Graduate Recruitment and am looking for a short-term volunteer opportunity, call it internship, work experience or volunteering…it would at least give me the opportunity to roll my sleeves up and get involved in all aspects of this sector.
If you know of anyone in need of a Graduate Recruitment Assistant, please get in touch. I am fluent in my native languages French and German, as well as fluent in English (written and spoken).
Many thanks in advance!
I very much appreciate your time and edvice,
Alexandra
