I am conducting an absence report and although our HRMIS lists approx. 20 different ‘Reasons’ for sick leave, I need a simplified way of categorising these into bands. ie. Injury/Accident related; General Cold/Flu; Female Related etc. For example – where would I include ‘Stroke’? If anyone has a classification system that works well and simply, but encompasses a range of sickness reasons – I would like to hear from you.
