I am curerntly updating my company’s staff handbook and would be grateful for any guidance on implementing a companssionate leave policy. To date it appears that compassionate leave has been given at the sole discretion of the MD which worked when the company was first set up but now there are over 100 employees and policies need to be tightened up and accessible to all.
