I was made redundant a year ago and during the process of making me redundant the company assured me they would not fill my position or a similar senior position with my responsibilities.

Less than 12 months later they have promoted one of my team to a Senior position with exactly the same responsibilities as my old role but with a different title. Its so obvious they made me redundant for now reason at all. They even hired a junior member to replace his old role.

During my redundancy meetings HR mentioned to me and this has been minuted in the notes that they would not fill or create such a position.

Please advise how I can take this further. The company has acted very unfairly with other and my own redundancies

I have written to them advising them of these issues and I intend to take the matter further.


Any advice would be appreciated.
