Given the furore in the press about religious dress and veils I am surprised there is no debate on the subject here.
I’m not trying to stir anything I think rather it might be an indication of how mature HR practitioner’s thinking is on this subject. We are watching the debate, we are aware of this issues and the legal structures that govern it. We have no new angles to add and will let the judges decide on how the law pans out.
I guess we are also significantly ahead of public opinion on age discrimination and our attitudes.
Just a thought.
