Last week I handed in my notice to the board of a charity i have been working at for 6 years. As the paid director was on holiday she has found out 1 week in to my 4 week notice period. I have 14 days holiday entitlement left and have asked to take 1 week of this at the end of my notice period. She is refusing this and has offered to pay me instead. I have lined up all of my projects ready to be handed over and am confident that i can get everything in order in two weeks. Does she have the right to refuse me holiday?
