I have just been notified by an employee currently 11 months into her maternity leave that for family reasons, she has decided not to come back to work when her maternity leave finishes.
She will have accrued 20 days holiday during the course of her OML and AML. As she is not returning, do we need to pay her the holiday pay when calculating final payroll and terminating her employment?
Also, is there anything else I need to do or be aware of to ensure all is done correctly?
