I WILL NEED SOME ADVISE ON THE FOLLOWING PLEASE. AN EMPLOYEE CLIAMS TO HAVE BEEN PUNCHED BY ANOTHER OF OUR EMPLOYEES DURING AN ARGUMENT. THE OTHER EMPLOYEE WHEN QUESTIONED SAID THE GUY IN QUESTION ACCIDENTALLY HIT HIS HEAD ON THE WALL AND HE NEVER PUNCHED HIM. THERE WERE NO WITNESSES OR CAMERA IN THE AREA WHEN THIS HAPPENED.THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED ON THE NIGHT SHIFT AND BOTH EMPLOYEES WERE SENT HOME PENDING INVESTIGATIONS. HOWEVER BEFORE THEY LEFT THE EMPLOYEE THAT WAS ACCUSED INSISTED ON HIS MANAGER CALLING THE POLICE TO TAKE A STATEMENT FROM BOTH OF THEM. ACCORDING TO THE POLICE REPORT THE EMPLOYEE’S FOREHEAD WAS SLIGHTLY SWOLLEN. WE WOULD LIKE TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS BUT HOW CAN WE PROVE ANYTHING?

YOUR ADVICE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

THANKYOU
