The Organisation had an all Staff Day to present its business plan.
At the end of it one employee who has a particular issue about communications in the organisation stood up and effectively denounced the plan process and was offensive in his comments about the director presenting the plan calling him patronising and dictatorial.
The individual in question has already been given a verbal warning on record for a similar outburst three months ago.
I was not present at the meeting but line manage teh individual. I ahve been asked to deal with the matter.
My view is that I either hear the complaint which is investigated by another Manager or investigate the complaint and find evidence and prsent it to another Director who would adjudicate.
We use a HR Consultant currently but he is out of the loop on annual laeve and I need to act reasonably quickly
