We are conducting research (at an early stage) into what other business services firms would accept from their accountants – other than general bookkeeping and tax advice.

The HR element is around how much influence does an HR Director/Manager have in selecting the accountancy provider or is it the sole preserve of the Finance Director/Manager?

HR managers usually get involved in selection of providers of other services to their company and staff but is this true of the provision of tax, accounting and general business advice as the lines may blur between consulting advice and financial ‘services’.

Any comments, input or ‘war stories’ into our research would be gratefully received. Contact me for any further details (simon.derry@project-leaders.net).
