Apart from targeting the right person and having a pertinent opening statement, how best should one format a marketing mailer to HRs, for training-related business?

Wearing my wordsmith’s hat, I am aware of standard copywriting practices, but have never been a fan of the ‘post script’. Certainly not for B2B although there is a case for B2C…

I also do not think it particularly appropriate for topics related to personal development.

However, I am stoutly assured by marketing gurus that it works.

What is the general view here?
