An employee who has been on a fixed term contract in excess of more than 2 years is now at risk of redundancy because of staffing restructure.

If the post is concluded as redundanct at the end of consultation, as she is on maternity leave receiving SMP only, will she be entitled to receive her contractual pay during her notice period? Or would she just remain on her SMP during this period, as her existing contract is fixed term with an explicit end date specified anyway?
