Employer has agreed to pay for an employee to train and sit an exam which is relevant to current role. Should the employee fail exam employer expects a 50% refund, the employee will be asked to sign a document outlining the above but do you think this is reasonable? In the past its been stipulated that should an employee leave up to a year after sitting an exam whether successful or not they reimburse the company 50% of cost.
