Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me.

Our company is in the process of relocation. I wonder if anyone could help me in finding out some information.

The company is not moving very far, probably about 5 miles away, but there is not a public transport route to the new building and the staff would have to take a 15 minute walk on a route which is very deserted, there is not even a pavement, just a small road.

Do staff just have to accept the move or is there a redundancy option?

The other query I have is do staff have to be given any notice before they move as it is only 5 miles away, if so does it have to be in writing or can they just be told?

Is anyone aware of a website which details laws re this type of thing?
