We had the need to re-employ an ex employee for a temporary period of 6 weeks. This has now been reviewed and we potentially need the individual for a further period of 3 months. I need a sample of a short term contract that I can issue to this person but I also need to know how to calculate the holiday entitlement. The hours are very flexible and the person only works whatever hours they can offer in any given week. Therefore how would I calculate the holiday on this basis as I can’t work out an average for the 3 months work that hasn’t yet been done as we don’t know what hours will be worked! Any helped is appreciated.
