We currently have a policy for our discretionary Sick pay, we have recently changed our deferred period for our Long Term Sickness Plan Cover to 26 weeks from 13 weeks and therefore need to update our regular sickness policy, as we now have a gap.

Does anyone have a policy or can offer some advise on what your company stand point is, as to whether you pay full discretionary sick pay up until an employee switches onto a long term sick ness claim, or whether its reduced or reverts to SSP during the interim period?
