I have an employee who needed some time off work. He asked for this to be booked as holiday leave. Once I had done this he then sent a doctors note which stated that he needed to be off work for a month. I just need to check that with the sick note he is able to book this time off as holiday leave?
Also he has said that he would like to come into work a few hours a week-is that allowed? If is meant to be off sick and comes into work and something happens to him-will the company be liable? I know that once he comes in he will not be entitled to SSP, but need to check all other legalities around it.
