Hi all. Many thanks for your responses last week. Had my appraisal today and it was a bit of an eye opener yet productive. The new MD understands my concerns with Co. chairman as he too has fell foul to his flippant promises that has not been delivered.I raised my grievance with him and he said that he shall get back to me. However i was somehow shocked to hear him recommend that i seriously consider whether or not i come back after my maternity leave and suggest that it would probably be best if i didn’t.He also said that there would be a job for me to come back to but wouldn’t be the one I currently hold (finance director).
In light of this i am seriously thinking that it would be best if they just make me redundant so we can all just start afresh. Where do i stand in respect of today appraisal and how would you recommend i move forward?
