We are a small visual arts organisation producing works worldwide. There are 7 staff members 1 (pt) covering finance, 1 (ft)organising the projects travel, contracts etc, 1 (ft)technical (making sure the venues have everything they need) 1 (ft)to “get” the business 2 (ft + 1 (pt) covering marketing. Marketing are now seeking a further ft person. I feel this is excessive man power in one area on a turnover of less than 3/4m. Are there any ratios or guidelines on how much work should be undertaken by each individual?
